HELP! I'm running photoshop 7.0 on XP professional and ever since I added the new service pack (2), when I click on adjustments/brightness-contrast, the tool becomes the eyedropper and wont' leave that until I press alt-f4. Has anybody else heard of this? I can't find anyway to get the brightness/contrast function working!

You know, now that I look at closer, I realize that when it's working properly, it goes to the eye droper anyway. What's just no happening is that the window that has the sliders to adjust the contrast and brghtness doesn't appear. what's going on?
