Hello everyone!,
I'm studying Photoshop by myself. I have several Photoshops books but I have realized that it could be better if I took classes somewhere because most of the time the books do not explain in detail how to do things.
For example, if a choose one of the tools, let's say the lasso tool I don't know how to put it back where it was. When I start Photoshop 6, you see a white pointer (like a white arrow), then I move this pointer over the tool that I want to work with and click on it. I select the tool and use it ( on this example is the lasso tool), but when I'm done, how can I get the white pointer back?. If I click over another tool I know I change to a new tool but then again how can I move this tool back where it was and get my white pointer back.
I know this question may sound trivial, but since I am new I'd appreciate your help because none of the books that I have read explain about the white arrow pointer.
Please let your answer be detailed, may be with an example.
Thank you very much for your time and patience.
