Yellow Tint in PSE--Gamma?

If I use the browse function to open an image, the images appear normal colors until I highlight them. From that point on, that thumbnail will look yellow tinted, and come up on the work surface with the same yellow tint. A saved image (with yellow tint) will appear normally tinted when opened with Internet Explorer. Does this have to do with the Gamma correction program?

TIA,

Sounds like the Photoshop color environment you are working in is different from the browers environment. (And there is the hassle of what format the work is saved in to complicate things - CMYK Tifs tend to do strange things)

Have a look at "View>Proof setup" then check that the Proof setup matchs your Colour Settings (Edit>colour Settings>

CMYK will display a bit different from RGB, though good color management will alleviate that.

When in doubt, save a copy of the file as a Photoshop PDF with all the boxes for color checked, and have a look at that on a different machine, and it will give you an idea of what it will look like once printed.
