batch optimizing problem

OK..I just been trying out some batch gif optimizing software, to try and solve the problem i have with image ready not optimizing enough/at all.
and none of them are any where near as good as photoshops one..

Any body know of any that are as good as p shops?
I would be interested to know cause this is driving me nuts!!!

Try checking out Fireworks, by Macromedia! I like to do all my image slicing and optimizing in Fireworks.

If you have all your images in one folder, just go to file, batch process, add your files, then you can export in different sizes, quality, file types, add prefixes and suffixes to the file names (and find and replace text in the file names), and other various commands including gray scaling, sephia tones, etc. It will also ask you if you want to save backups or not, which can be quite handy!
