well this is the contests part of the forum so there should have been money
it may seem "very basic" to you but if it is then why didn't you do it?
it may seem easy but it's still time consuming to redraw all those shapes by hand, decide how to make the letters from your rough sketches, keeping all the letterforms consistent as though they were a real font, and adjusting the kerning (space between the letter pairs) to make the whole thing look nice.
a good carpenter might find making a basic table easy - or at least lok easy - but it still takes time and experience and skill.
this logo would have cost you an hour of my time (at $50) and in ths part of the forum should have been 20. to be fair you didn't state the price at the beginning and as a moderator i should have waited until you explicitly stated that there was no prize.
well my time costs money and it's money i badly need but i jumped in so the psd is coming to your pm for free, after all i've already spent the time 
but just remember that just because something seems easy it isn't always so, and that if you spent a while with the pen tool trying to draw this you would maybe realise the time and effort involved in turning someone's drawing into a real logo.
oh and as for having "extra money at this time" who does?
i'm student living in the second most expensive country in Europe (Finland) with 2 young kids (and a wife!) and you can't even spare 20 bucks?
