Hello everyone,

After having a great turnout for my logo in Decemeber I have decided to start another contest. I'm looking for 4 different banners for my slideshow seen on this page (new design of our index page):

I'm giving you allot of freedom with these banners as I don't have an exact idea in mind. I'm also not looking for a 100% perfect banner but rather a good idea as I can make changes if needed.

Details

Size: All 4 need to be: 960px (w) x 300px (h)

Design: Needs to have a feel related to a web hosting service. As you can imagine the aim of these banners is to simply attract attention and generate sales.

Colors: Anything that works.

Format: PSD (So I can edit the text if/when needed)

Payment: $10 per banner via PayPal

Banners

1) Shared web hosting banner

Anything related to shared web hosting with text to advertise the main points (from $1/month, no overselling, 24 hour support, cpanel, fantastico, uptime guarantee, money back guarantee) < I need a bit more time to think about the text so I'm even happy for you to put "text example 1" etc if it's easier.

2) Support banner

I just want to get the point across 24/hour personal non robotic support. I do like the idea of showing a generic support rep as it's the easiest way to get the point across and everyone does it.

3) Infrastructure banner

Basically an image of a generic datacentre for the background with text on top for the server specs. Unfortunately I don't have images of the datacentre we use (The Planet) large enough for this slideshow.

4) cPanel banner

I would like a banner dedicated to cPanel. I would like a screenshot of our customized cPanel if that's possible (http://www.zomex.com:2082/login?user...&pass=password) and text saying easy to use, powerful etc But also focusing on our customized version being easy to access support etc if that's possible.

It's worth noting that I'm not looking to pick 1 person for all the banners (although it could happen). I'm also not hear to waist your time. If someone has created something that is close to what I'm looking for I will let everyone know. If this works out I may add more banners requests to this thread and have future jobs for the winners.

I might, although I use Fireworks not Photoshop. Instead of a layered PSD you'd get a layered PNG file which is native to Fireworks. Is that okay?

Hello Madman,

If you want to use Fireworks that's fine. I watched a video yesterday about Fireworks and it opened my eyes about how good it is. I will make sure to pick the right text from the begging.

That banner is fantastic! I will gladly pay you for that banner if you can make a couple of small changes for me:

- Can you remove the blue background from the demo screenshot so it shows the white only? I mean the the blue gradient background with the line in the middle. I love the shadow on the screenshot.

- Can you move the screenshot to the right slightly so the text "custom cPanel" text doesn't cover the top? Also can you change the c on "CPanel" to lowercase (cPanel)?

Can you use the following text:

- Powerful!

- Full Control!

- Easy To Use!

- Direct Access To Support!

After those small changes it will be perfect for my needs and I will be happy to pay you right now. Would it be possible to provide me with one other version without the text but with the ticks, screenshot and background rather than the layered PNG (Since I don't have fireworks)

I'm not sure what you mean by this... Can you rephrase it?

Also: I can save it as a layered PSD, sometimes it alters a few things though such as effects and gradients. I can flatten those layers and it will work fine though, is that okay?

Would you be able to crop the screenshot at the edge of the white e.g:

In fact if that's good enough quality you could use that and add the shadow.

Alright I've got it done with the revisions and have a layered PNG and PSD (with a couple flattened layers to preserve the graphics) once you send the payment I'll send the files. I've PMed you my paypal.

First of all sorry for the late reply. I saw your submissions this morning but didn't have time to reply.

Thanks very much for your new submissions! I'm not feeling banner 1 at the moment. I'm going to look into some ideas as it's the most important one.

Banner 3 is very nice. It seems a little dark to me. Did the images come blurred or is that an effect you have applied? If you applied it would it be possible the banner without it? Would it be possible to remove the blue button (it is very nice) because I made some buttons yesterday for the cPanel banner that I'm going to use on all of them for consistency. The spacing and font are fine but can you change the text to:

Unfortunately that's how the picture came, but I was able to sharpen it a little without it looking a little strange.

Also, I can move things around to your liking, such as the text BG a little right.
